Xyston 1:600. A great size for this kind of thing. The ships are a nice size (two and a half inches long x 1 inch wide with the oars) and have a nice chunky weight and feel – which is useful when everything gets pell mell. |

I'm not sure if it still is, but if Polybius' figures are to be believed it involved over 670 ships and 290,000 men (about 430 per ship). So probably
