I've just finished playing Square Bashing 2nd Ed for the second time. The first time I hated it, this time I loved it! It's a great game and here is the AAR from today's game on my blog: link Thanks for looking!

Very cool. How many figures do you paint for a typical army? About 100? |

12 – 16 per battalion, depending on if you mount 3 or 4 per stand. About 10 battalions if all regulars or better, more if you've got reservists. |

Thanks guys, yeah each unit is made up of about 16 figures, and about twelve units so around about 200 figures. That's what I was using here for the British side, plus the guns and tanks. I have bought a Peter Pig black box army for both the Germans and British, plus loads of extra single packs. But there is a maximum amount of units though, so the amount of figures is capped as well. |

So glad you gave these another try out. We have had some cracking games with the new rules. Having time to prep the markers etc has obviously helped. And your terrain has given me some ideas I need to work on for my own forces as well. VG |

Thanks CAG19, yep, I am glad I went for it again, it is a really enjoyable game after my initial reservations. I'm looking forward to another game now! I am also working on some Square bashing specific terrain, keep tuned on the blog for forthcoming updates as I make it! |
