Drew (the manufacturer) gave me a germ of an idea for why they'd be green: link I believe I might run with that idea. Maybe I'll do some Klingons in nice shiny white next. :) |

That's brilliant. And you guys are starting to tempt me into doing some Trek-ish starship combat games. I actually had a related idea for the Xuvaxi ships. On the 15mm side, I always preach about taking an existing universe and changing a few things to fit the minis. For a starship gaming universe, I thought about making humans a rare and endangered species in the Federation-equivalent. One of my ships could be notable because it has the first human captain in history. I'd like to find a way to combine it with 15mm ground games (away team actions, etc) to really develop the universe. But first I need to choose ships
the Bergstrom/Irrational line is awesome, but there are also some really cool other ships on Shapeways (Benaiah and Nash Starship Yards). -Chris K. |
