Well from what we could tell, the creator mostly shuffled around existing abilities to try and make boards that evoke the characteristics of the faction he/she/they wanted to represent. So that helps keep them from being to overpower-full. Now obviously Saga is in many ways like one of the 2d Fighting Games (Street-Fighter etc). If you can pull of specific combos of abilities they can be crushing. But all factions have such combos. I did not feel the boards were overpowered, but I did not have chance to try all combos. |
