Ok thanks to my friend mike I am now in possession of a LCI/G in 28mm. I have Marines but I do not have a crew. I also have several questions. #1 Would Pulp figures sailors be acceptable? I know brigade games has a few guys for Landing craft/ LVT but they don't make anything like a crew. #2 Would sailors uniforms be Blue or white. I thought they usually fought in the dungarees but there are almost no gaming examples of them I know of. #3 How late in the war were the tin hats worn by the navy when did they change to the steel pot? Any advice help would be greatly appreciated. |

Good questions While I am no expert I think the Pulp figs would work – and I think dungarees would be good for the Pacific, although some of the colour photos I have seen of D-Day have the crew in blue uniforms – at least by D-Day pretty much all the crews had steel pots, and I suspect by 1943 in the Pacific that would be the case too |

You could use the Company B LVT crew figures.

Bob Murch's Pulp Figures features a set or two of 1930ish Sailors in deck uniform, jeans and fatigue shirts. Pretty sure they would work for WWII. No helmets on the though, just "sailor hats". |

Do you have some photos of the LCI? I've been thinking of building an LCI myself
I've used Murch sailors for 4 USN boats so far. He should have enough various poses for a basic crew. I've had to modify some of them by adding kapok vests, helmets or sailor caps from green stuff.
