I am starting to paint some Mahdists in 15mm scale, they are mainly fuzzy wuzzy with some figures in turban and tunics, and a couple of standard bearers… do you know about some website that has photos of painted miniatures for inspirations… or can you give me a quick painting guide? thank you in advance

Deserter, This is something I did to 28mm Mahdists a few years ago, and it worked well, I don't see why it wouldn't do for 15m. I spray primed the figures with peweter gray paint. Once that was fully dry, I washed the figures with a dark brown for flesh, then drybrushed the clothing with white. With that bulk painting done, I proceeded to do the detailing. That really cut down the time it took to field an army.

I can't guarantee you will be inspired, but I have a 15mm Sudan Gallery on my website which you can see at warin15mm.com/The-Sudan.html

War In 15mm, great! On the flags, are the arabic phrases carefully copied from somewhere, or did you, ehm, cheat?

I cheated! Glad you enjoyed the pics. Richard

I used. Tans, Greys, teracottas, off whites, khakis. I've a picture on the miniature page under bluemoon fuzzy review. Take a look and if you like I can tell you what paints I used.

For the Fatherland!, Excellent detailed sculpts!. Great posing, the only thing I would worry about , they must certainly have to take a break here and their carrying such large rifles ;).

Great work as always Khurasan!.
