New on the blog, suggested rules for a random or referee-run "space monster" in Full Thrust, for use in spicing up fleet battles with an unexpected enemy: link
As written, this guy should be a major pain for anywhere from 1000-3000 points of ships (and can sting even a larger force badly on the way out) but you could tweak the mechanics to make it less damaging and produce a critter that would work for scenarios emulating the classic Star Fleet Battles "heavy cruiser versus a monster" solo game. |

they will be released in late Oct.12 different space creatures and I am also doing a Horrid fleet which are different than the astrofauna. |

I love it, but I'm a sucker for astrofauna of all types, so my opinion is a bit suspect. I've got a Silent Death Solar Worm waiting on my work table right now, it's ridiculously adorable. |
