Eureka miniatures lists chimpanzees in their line of 28mm animals. Does anyone here have them and care to comment on them? Even better would be pictures of them....

Thanks!

I had them as part of the hundred club and had quite forgotten about them until the parcel arrived... I said it then and I'll say it now... they are the most beautiful figures I've seen in ages... there is such character in them it's unbelievable.... you get 4 chimps, all on their knuckles (about 13mm to their back), 1 is standing, 2 are walking and the 4th is walking but has a baby chimp clinging to it's back... the standing one has a swollen arse which begs to be red for some reason (I assume it designates an alpha male or horny female or something, but Diane Fossey I ain't)... I've had them for must be close to 3 years now and I really must get round to painting the damn things... buy them, you will not be disappointed.....

when I say standing, I just mean not in a walking pose, they are all on their knuckles.

Hey - hadn't seen those before. Maybe I should look through their catalogue more carefully, huh?

Thanks for the tip!

anevilgiraffe: Jane Goodall, more like.

Yes, that signifies a female in oestrus. These are nice; may have to think carefully about how I could use some!

I knew Fossey was wrong... but what you gonna do when you need a quick quip? ;)
