I've been looking for figures that would suit Monte Cooks Numenera' rpg. I have been unsuccessful in finding anything that suits my purpose. I know reaper has some Numenera figures being released at some point, but I'd like other options.

I'd like to avoid anything that looks to traditional (real world medieval)fantasy and anything in the "power armor and plasma rifle" category as well.

If your not familiar w/numenera think – Barsoom/heavy metal/ Wizards//New Sun (Wolfe) type setting. In other words weird …

I'm hoping I have missed some hidden resource out there

Edit : also I'd like to avoid the '70s cheese cake/beef cake syndrome.

Try Dark age inspired by the artist Brom's work in fantasy art.

Try some of Privateer's Warmachine/Hordes lines. The problem with Numenera minis is that it's supposed to be like AD1000 Europe…except when it's not. The magic/tech in those could easily be fit into the cypher/artifact categories.

The Tekumel project maybe

What a neat looking game! I'd love to play that, either as an RPG or a minis game.

Did you get (or can you find) the limited release Reaper Minis that they put out last month? numenera.com/reaper-miniatures

Hope they put them out in wide release eventually.
