Looks like this hasn't been addressed on TMP lately. I'm heading to Atlanta next week; here are the two stores I'm aware of: Giga-bites Cafe: giga-bitescafe.com/index.php Treefort Games: treefortgames.com Anything else I should know? |

Tower in Suwanee (North side just off 85) thetowergamecenter.com The Gaming Pit in Duluth (also North, also just off 85) thewastelandgaming.com HobbyTown in Kennesaw (Cobb County – North off 75) hobbytown.com/Kennesaw-GA Tower and Gaming Pit are primarily cards, fantasy and 40K but have good paint ranges, Hobbytown has a decent FOW stock along with any hobby item you can think of and a huge railroad terrain section. |

There's the Tower Game Center in Suwanee. Big and really nice. But it was a whole lot nicer before the WH40K and Warmahordes blight swallowed the place. I was there a couple of weeks ago. I likely won't go back. A damned shame. There was a place in Buford, but I haven't been in ages. Others too, with much less of a wargamey variety. The locals will be along shortly. Don't forget to check Treefort's hours, and be mindful that both they and GigaBytes both moved up the road a bit not too long ago. |

What exactly are you interested in looking for, Gonk? |

What exactly are you interested in looking for, Gonk? Nothing in particular, just miniatures and such. I suppose an interesting historical selection would be too much to ask for, but it would be nice to see something new rather than more GW/PP. Or books. Anything hobby related
I want the War Room. ;-) |

I've been to the Gaming Pit. It has a huge area for playing, and a large, but not huge, selection of games. They have many board games if that's your sort of thing, and they update stock regularly, so you're not likely to see old games that haven't sold. Treefort is only open Friday evening through Sunday, so check their hours to make sure they're open before you visit. |

Atlanta is still mourning the loss of The War Room-- it was driven under when GW opened a store almost on top of it. |

Dr. No's Comics & Games in Marietta had some minis; certainly not historicals (which, other than the WWII variet, pretty much limits you to Treefort). I want the War Room. ;-) You and me, both! Oh, and my wife, so I won't whine about it whenever we're within fifty miles of either Norcross or Duluth. Atlanta is still mourning the loss of The War Room And Sword & the Phoenix! It had been around for ages. I loved that place. Is that place in Buford gone? They had tons of GW and Battlefront, not much else, hence my disinterest. Just curious. |

Is Treefort worth the trip? I'll be just north of the perimeter. |

IMHO, but that's just me. I'm almost always between Sandy Springs and Alpharetta, and I make a special trip down. It HAS to be a special trip, because they are never open during the time I could hit them, with relative convenience, heading into the Mertro area. I hate to see their extended (holiday? summer?) hours go each time. They're not spectacular or anything, but I cling to a decent, not one- note GW/PP/BF stores like your crazed ex-girlfriend. |

Titan Games and Hobbies in Smyrna, is it around? |

Near I-285/75? Last time I was in there (a bit over a year?), their games section was nearly non-existent. |
