Hi everyone; I am working on an After Action Report on my Facebook page, for a game of Black Powder-Franco Prussian War of 1870. As I put in photos of our game, I like to include photos and artwork from the period. I am having trouble searching the internet for Prussian-German troops in photographs or artwork. Can anyone give me some website recommendations. Thanks Joe |

I just googled Prussian Army 1870, and looked on images. Hundreds available. Mollinary |

Get on Yahoo! Groups and go to the "1870" group or the "They Died For Glory" group. I posted uniform pics from the major combatants. I also posted photographs. I use them when I am writing a scenario for a game. The new Yahoo! Groups format, which is horrible, won't let you download them directly. There is a work around using windows 7 paint. Also google the Forbes Collection. The Forbes Collection consist of one of the, if not the largest collections of FPW art. However a part of thcollectionon waactioneded off last year. But as mollinary said just do some google searches. PDF link link link |

Thanks for the tips; I actually did a search through Google and not through my internet provider and found the images Mollinary wrote about. Hadn't seen that before, some useful pics there. I also saved the black and white photo mashrewba posted. Joe |
