Peter and I had our first go at Shipwreck last night.

Looks like a good start… I bought some missile counters too, we had been using little slips of paper, which just was not cutting it…

Hope to post another game soon.

Splendid models, love the markers as well. I'm tempted now to resurrect my modern naval units in 1:6000 and trot out a fictional scenario.

Nice to see your Litko markers. I have some too, especially the radar blip markers. Where did you get your helicopter rotors? Are they scratchbuilt?

Looks like fun.

A nice, interesting twist, from the usual foes.

Given the missiles, about to impact, it appears the French ended up with the short end of the stick.

Also, I'm guessing the Russians won't be getting any more French-built vessels soon, or at a reasonable price, anymore, and that any built will be for "domestic" use.

Thanks very much.

Not surprised the SS-N-14s didn't do much – they are an anti-submarine weapon.

I wonder if the Shipwreck yahoogroup has some answers for your questions?

Very cool report.

I bet the Russian commander was grateful for those 130mm guns once the missiles were expended!
