I have started putting together a BKCII Commonwealth force for Operation Battleaxe, June 1941 – details are on my blog

Greetings

Do you have Benghazi Handicap (written for Command Decision)? This has very good game OBs.

It's not 100% right (unsurprisingly) as the more one digs into unit accounts the more variation turns up.

Regards

Edward

Hi Edward, no, I don't have 'Benghazi Handicap' – basically I have used a variety of sources, and surprisingly – the Wikipedia article isn't bad as a collation of sources.

I happily accept that what I thought was correct will change as new sources are made available. In 6mm it doesn't take much to add or subtract a few bases.

The other thing I accept is that the numbers given in most accounts are at best approximations. What with breakdowns, sick rosters, cross-postings and so on, the theoretical and reported ToE are at best likely to be 'close' rather than on the money.

I think you have a good philosophy, it saves a lot of headaches. And the models are lovely!
