Hi all! Thought I would pass this along
some eye candy from a game of "Longstreet" and a little glimpse at some of the campaign after-game mechanisms. Come on by and take a peek! link |

Uhm, The Editor, if you could change that to "game report" I'd much appreciate it:) |

qwerty ero typo "I type, therefor I misspell" Looks like a good game, but where did the Union cavalry come from? I thought all the Cavalry was out west? |

They had two small units lurking behind their lines
They saw an opening and the officers quickly got them through the spaces and into the Reb lines |

Ouch. Once again, it has been proved that it is better to give than receive. That looked like one heck of a grand battery! |

Yeah, it was a tough one. In retrospect, there were simply too many figures for too small a table, and given the fact that it was the two most experienced guys (and ruthless) against a team that included two guys with a grand total of one game of Longstreet experience, combined with pretty smart army selection, combined with awkward terrain (for us, at least) combined with a mistake or two
well, we got hammered:) |

" In retrospect, there were simply too many figures for too small a table" Yeah, we got carried away and crammed too many 28mm figures onto an 8-foot table. Meanwhile, the 15mm game next to it, had wide open spaces. |

Meanwhile, the 15mm game next to it, had wide open spaces. And was jolly good fun, despite my Rebs were repulsed by the Bluebellies! |

Nice AAR. Maybe a staggered deployment could have done well for a less crowded game
