I've recently become interested in trying out a fantasy PBEM RPG. It's been 15 or so years since I played an RPG and I've never played a PBEM game. I'm hoping to find something that's noob friendly and maybe more RP oriented than combat. Can anyone help me out.

Try rpg.net forums. I have not played PBEM but there are some threads devoted to the subject including some current games you might be able to join.
