Thank you! I am a die hard Planet of the Apes fan! Love gaming it. Took me awhile to build my army, but well worth it. Tom |

Very nicely done. I like your ruined city. The rusted vehicles and then all the jungly growth all over, very evocative. |

Very nicely done. I like your ruined city. The rusted vehicles and then all the jungly growth all over, very evocative. It looks like you did conversions of plastic figures? |

Nicely done – great backstory as well! |

What did you use for the figures? 20mm apes (converted plastic figs?) and Halo Clicks for the Psychlos? Rob |
darclegion | 02 Sep 2013 7:41 a.m. PST |
The apes are from Craven Images and are 40mm scale, they are huge. And yea I used Halo for Psychlos
they are in scale with 40mm. Or actually both are about 36mm tall to be more exact "roughly". The Halo figures were perfect for Psychlos. I have read that book about 10 times, and they fit good with the description, not perfectly, but good enough. Tom |

What a great scenario. I love the rusted terrain as well. I have a bunch of ruined city terrain that I use with some Terminator Salvation games. I also have a bunch of the unpainted 28mm Apes. Now I just need to get them painted and the ruined city terrain can pull double duty. David G. gamerarchitect.blogspot.com |

Wow, that's stunning work! |

Thanks to all! I used basic ruddy brown primer and then I used a railroad rust pigment kit on them all. I used a lot of old tonka toys and various other cars. I made the ruins out of Star Wars miniature games AT-ST boxes. The rivers were custom made by Wargamers Terrain. Thanks for looking! Tom |

Love those apes!!!! Wish someone made them for 15mm. Dan PS. Who or what is Psychlos"? |
darclegion | 04 Sep 2013 5:49 a.m. PST |
Thanks!!! Psychlos were from the novel Battlefield Earth by Ron L. Hubbard. They were the Alien race that conquered earth. Great book, the only book I can read of his though. Tom |

Cool! I read the book long before the film came out, and I always thought of the Psychlos as somewhat ape-like, similar to the Yazirians from the Star Frontiers rpg. |
darclegion | 05 Sep 2013 9:44 p.m. PST |
Yea, me too
I almost want to use my apes as Psychlos, but I would need to find a Johnny Good Boy Tyler figure in 40mm with a few 40mm Scottish warriors in flight suits. tom oh, and the movie was a joke
so sad, I think the movie has to be one of the worst movies ever in the entire history of film making. |
