I KNOW! Now, if only I had the cash to get a ride in it – $6,000 USD an hour operating costs
The deal of a lifetime? A ferry ride from Calgary to Regina, $2,000 USD for about an hour and a half while it goes back home. Ack! To be rich. (they removed the rear gas tank and installed a very, very tiny jump seat in tandem – claustrophobic people need not apply!) |

Tom Cruise owns a dual seat P-51. There's a Youtube of a chap in the back seat. |

Cool! This wouldn't be a proper dual seat – this is like a milk crate and hope crammed in behind! Well, not really, but I didn't get in the back! |

I had a back-seat ride in a restored P-51D at RAF Brawdy in 1994 or thereabouts (after having a dogfight with it in a Chipmunk)! :) |

I'd love to create some smaller-scale birds and rent them out. Put a couple laser markers where the guns should be and rig a laser detector wired to a smoke generator. Probably 2/3 scale or so. |
