Hi folks, me again spamming away ! Hopefully, you like the news I bring so it's not considered as spam but I sure feel like I'm doing it! Anyway, I am putting the finishing touches to my new (and shiny) WFBattles.com website – it'll be going live before the end of August but you can set up an account now if you like, it's FREE, no catches, no spam and no bullsh1t :-) Synopsis ---------- You can record your Fantasy Battle details, notes and battle report links (download them when you want), create leagues (for up to 20 people), join alliances and fight in campaigns for points and accolades, check out all the stats (and there's lots of them including The Book of Grudges!) and participate in polls and stuff like that. It's all FREE (wheyhey!) because I'm trying to learn how to program in .NET/SQL Server/C# – it's been quite an experience of blood, sweat and tears with a little joy too – I think! Anyway, here's a brief overview with screenshots :- WFBattles overview on the Battle Reporter blog and here's the site if you can't be arsed with the above ;-) www.wfbattles.com And some tasty screenshots (I won't paste them all, there are 39 pages in total)

Thanks for the feeback religon, appreciated. Please join up, it's all free and will remain so. I'm getting no small amount of pride out of my small achievement :-) Also, I'm going to try to get a job doing something similar (not Warhammer related obviously but in a boring office :-( ) |

Hi folks, WFBattles.com is LIVE and is ready for use. Some things to note:- 1) You can post up to 10 battle per calendar month – the server Date/Time is GMT+8 hours (so you only have about 24 hours to get your August allocation in before the September battle period begins). 2) I have saved all of your test battle details to Google Drive, you will find the link in your "Profile" page > "Battles" (it's a red flame arrow image) If you reported any legitimate battles in the test data you can manually copy the notes from Google Drive and save them in a new battle. 3) I have greatly improved the performance of the Profile Polls and Hobby pages so please fill them in so we get some good data on who loves, fears and loathes who and what everyone is collecting/painting etc. 4) I expect the server could get quite busy if everybody tries to post 10 battles at the same time so it might be wise to copy your comments onto your clipboard before clicking "Save Battle" – just in case! That's it folks, Enjoy. Sigmar PS. Please check out the homepage for "Comments & Chat links" and "Problem?" reporting – I'm subscribed to all the respective Battle Reporter forum topics and will respond within 24 hours. PPS. Yes, I will be adding Chaos Dwarfs. |

I've recently added two new pages; The Revered and Battlefields. Warhammer Fantasy – The Revered -------------------------------------------------------------- Shows which armies are most feared by each army owner and in aggregate. It also shows which are the most collected (and loved) and wanted armies, I've called that section The Venerated. Some pics
Warhammer Fantasy – Battlefields --------------------------------------------------------------
Consists of two elements:- 1) the Scales of War (ie. who's 'winning' the eternal struggle between the Forces of Order and Destruction and 2) Bitter Rivalries – the armies from opposing factions that spill the most of each other's blood! Battlefields Page details (in case you want to know how all the calculations are done) :- http:/WFBattles – Battlefields Page details (blogged) Some pics :-

By the way, all constructive feedback is very welcome. In particular, if there's something that anybody would to see added to the site. Thanks guys. |

I've been working on Star Ratings for Battle Report notes & report links. It will allow any member to rate a battle report, the rating will be aggregated to provide average ranks per report (and show the number of times it's been rated) and I'll be adding a new page for the best Battle Scribes. The Battles Archive page will be updated so you can filter/sort by battle report rating. Here's what I have so far on my development server
