B109E-3 by Hobby Boss 1/72nd scale Just the right air support for my Rapid Fire games. It comes with the landing wheels down and I modified it to look like it is flying. The pilot is from Eureka miniatures. I didn't use the additional fuel tank. Paints and varnish used were Derivan Minis and Matisse Flow I don't own an air brush, the only one I had never worked (I thought it was me) and by the time I realised it wasn't me it was out of warranty. Nice looking 109. Was the last one you built an Airfix? |

Thank you. Yes I built an Airfix BF 109 as a kid but the yellow humbrol paint I used back then was a nightmare and I was never happy with modle that i finished back then. I like how with the Airfix you could model the plane flying. |

Looks excellent. Only minor input I have is the nose cone. If you are going to use the plastic disc, you should have sanded the nose cone smooth rather than snipping off the props. BUT, if you are going to leave in the prop locations, you should fan out on the plastic a blurred location of the props. This is minor and the plane looks fantastic. |

Thanks for the tip that was my first try with the plastic disc. 400 eh, well maybe not, 3 or 4 would be nice though. |
