Caesar H086 Dismounted Crusaders sells for around $11.99 USD for 34 figures, 12 different poses, 25mm tall. Nice figures: Plastic Soldier Review link. If you need inexpensive Human knights, you likely won't find a better deal.

Can be used as Human Heavy Infantry, heavily armored City/Temple Guards, or… At this price point, they're a steal of a deal. Cheers!

Closer to 3 for a dollar. In my experience, the vast majority of wargamers refer to these as 20mm since they are comparable to that size and not anywhere close to what gamers call 25s. But yes, nice figs for 1/72 gaming however, don't buy them thinking you are going to mix them with 25s.

According to Plastic Soldier Review, these figures are, in fact, 25mm tall, on average. The 1/72 scale is pretty loose, with figures running from 22mm to 28mm, in some cases -- this is why Plastic Soldier Review can really be helpful in making decisions on which plastic, "1/72" figures sets will be useful with other gaming figures.

The average price I found, was $11.99 USD + S/H; I estimated around $16 USD per box of 34 figures, delivered, so roughly $0.50 USD/figure. Cheers!

I'm painting the compatible set, 13th Century Knights, with the intention of auctioning it. Both sets are very nice and even the photos on PSR do not do them justice.

The problem is that 25mm metal soldiers aren't. A Caesar 1/72 plastic infantryman is about as tall as an old Ral Partha colonial infantryman but it is significantly more slender, has a smaller head, smaller hands, etc. The Caesar infantry come up to the upper arm or shoulder area of modern 25s and the distortion in proportions is extreme. The head of a mounted crusader is pretty even with the head of the modern 25mm infantryman, while the head of the mounted crusader comes up to the waist of a modern 25mm cavalryman and the horses look to be about the size of large dogs.

They are great figures for what they are but they are not cheap replacements for modern 25mm figures.

I haven't run across too many 1/72 plastic that match up well with 25mm metals. They're a good deal if you stick with the 1/72 scale though and Caesar's are some of the best.

Scruby 25s should match well. I rather like these knights. They, like most of Caesar's figures look great! They are 1mm taller than other 1/72 scale figures. BTW PSR always measures to the top of the head. So matching them to other 25mm figures will usually result in them being too small.

As WATJ rightly points out, PSR measures to the top of the figure.

Thus, these are NOT 25mm figures. They are going to be closer to 20mm, since most every caster of 25mm soldiers measures sole-to-eye and it's widely accepted that some figures run bigger than scale, but not smaller.

Nice 1/72 figs, nice price, but shouldn't be called 25mm.
