I'm going to be starting a Takur Ghar terrain project to fight the 2 scenarios in the Force on Force supplement, Enduring Freedom.

More info on the blog: link

I'm not the most talented scenic genius so if you have any ideas for creating modularised terrain items – rocky, snow covered, you know the osrt of thing – or know of any existing tables I'd be grateful if you would considering sharing.

After all, a problem shared is a problem solved, right? :)

I'll be following your build with interest. I'd love to play the scenarios, but I don't fancy building a mountain in my little condo.

Can't wait to see your progress.

when I built mine I went to hobby lobby and bought the precut styrofoam sheets they are about 11x11 inches 4mm to 6mm thick. I got enough to cover the base and then layered them to creat the
the high ground. I then bought model railroad rubber rockface molds the silicon ones, then useing sculpy i used them to model boulders and rock formations. After baking the sculpy to cure it I primed it gray and black and dry brushed various shades of colors to duplicate the way rocks look. I also sprayed the styrofoam testers dark earth then oversprayed whith darker shades then dusted them with white . and used small amounts of powdered model rail road material to place areas of deep snow in small areas. I had to build some of the bunkers and trenches out of sculpy,I built the lean to by the Dushka out of tissue strenthened by white glue….then added trees….Mikey
