Tactica is the greatest. No game gives that trill except baseball, bottom of the ninth with two outs, 5 seconds to go and you are on the 10 yard line, three seconds and you have the ball down by one point….

I this its what chess should have been.

Good looking figures and excellent game Greg – not familiar with Tactica but clearly a different game to Hail Caesar with those long lines of 'unsupported' troops.

Tactica is still the best ancients rule system out there. Tactica II is even better. I remember so many games coming down to the last melee. Lot of good memories with these rules.

Great looking game! What's the mat on that table? It makes for a lovely canvas for your battles to play out upon. Great job, and thanks for sharing.

Achilles, the mat is from The Terrian Guy. I wish he was still making this mats I need one more!! Mike Adams

That's a lot of pike there. Mike looks great.

I really like the massed phalangites. That purple or blue colored pike unit what a beauty.

Thanks for sharing this .

Really nice. Wish I had started my ancients in 25mm. Tactica almost always gives a great game.

Very nicely done! Thanks for sharing. Again, I find myself tempted to look into Tactica. Then again, as a solo wargamer, I understand that Tactica does not lend itself well or play well as a solo contest.

Still, I am tempted.
