Hi, I am going to paint Chinese Type 69 MBT and Type 63 APC for World War 3 in first half of 80's.

Could you please give me advice on vehicle color/camouflage for this period (maybe Vallejo or Citadel colors as well)?

Also how does Chinese infantryman looked liked in 80's? Is it possible to use Peter Pig soviets for them?

Enter Sino Vietnam war into Google or Yahoo image search and you will get hundreds of pictures

PLA infantry in that period would still be wearing the Type 65/74 "Mao suit" uniform, but with steel helmets. Take a look at the uniforms worn in this 1984 video:

That video is superb! I do wonder how the Soviets would have coped when the "quality of quantity" was on the other side.

I think that vid was a Chinese remake of the old Battle of the Bulge movie!
