Hi, I am going to paint Chinese Type 69 MBT and Type 63 APC for World War 3 in first half of 80's. Could you please give me advice on vehicle color/camouflage for this period (maybe Vallejo or Citadel colors as well)? Also how does Chinese infantryman looked liked in 80's? Is it possible to use Peter Pig soviets for them? |

PLA infantry in that period would still be wearing the Type 65/74 "Mao suit" uniform, but with steel helmets. Take a look at the uniforms worn in this 1984 video: youtu.be/rg7d5EaaLHk?t=7m34s |

That video is superb! I do wonder how the Soviets would have coped when the "quality of quantity" was on the other side. Jurgen |

I think that vid was a Chinese remake of the old Battle of the Bulge movie! |
