I have decided to expand the Swedish interwar range. Aaron of Black Crab Sculpting are right now doing a few new sculpts. Here is one, you can see more on my Ådalen blog.
Just remember that this is Work-In-Progress pictures.

Quite an interesting project; good luck!

Bjorn,
Was the cut of the m/23 officers' uniform pretty much the same as the uniform worn in 1897? Would it just require a paint conversion to use an officer from the AC command pack as an 1897 officer?

I ask because I have figures for the Greco-Turkish War of 1897. The Swedish observer (perhaps Adjutant Sinclair of the 3rd Nordland Dragoons) always turned up for battles in a clean uniform with polished boots. War correspondents would see him with the spotless uniform and boots, and think he was a dandy, a chocolate-creme soldier, as Bernard Shaw would have said. However, they changed their minds when he proceeded to watch the battle from the most advanced Greek battery, standing out in the open instead of safely in a trench.
It might be nice to add a Swedish observer to my armies.

Hi Grelber,
Nice idea!
They are very similar to each other. Cut of the pockets and you should be fine. The model/1879 jacket had more buttons, you could just paint more, or put on a small amount of green stuff as new ones.

I like that shako style hat. Might work for my VBCW Royal Mail Rifles, with double bill hat, with a little modification.
