Well here is the latest Model transition using a remoulded and re-engineered Matilda 1 pattern finished in the new composite materials of white metal and High definition plastic resin. It follows the same pattern we are using for all these new models of light weight, only 6 parts so rapid 5 minute construction time and delivers a stunning model almost ready for the table. The old all white metal version previously available from skytrex weighed 109 grams. This new one is only 39 grams. Why is that important, postage rates will stay low and you don't have to hump great chunks of lead around when transporting them. What was previously £16.50 GBP from Skytrex will now retail at £8.50 GBP each or with 3 models in a pack plus some stowage accessories for £24.00 GBP

The 6 parts with the Hull pre-cast really does mean 5 minute rapid construction.
We really think we have a great formula here, light weight, rapid construction, high detail for a good price. Tell us what you think?
Other former Skytrex/Hincliffe models under re-construction include the British A13 in 3 variants, the Matilda 2 with optional external fuel tank, the Humber and Dingo armoured cars.

The 20mm Zone is launched.
We have now got a name for these range of WW2 models and equipments. Ian and I and proud to introduce the new named jointly owned business. The 20mm Zone is the name for the range of models we are jointly producing. 20mmzone.com has already been registered and will be the location for the new web store when its ready. The first time you are likelt to see some of the products we are showing you in these news updates will be at Newbury at the Colures. However, at Derby and others shows in the future, we hope to be trading the 20mm Zone products as part of a combined trade space.
Why the 20mm zone? Well, its two things. Its the name for the new range of WW2 models we are creating out of the old Skytrex/Hinchliffe model ranges we bought 6 weeks ago, but is also a new way of trading at shows for us. Both Ian Clunie with Shellhole Scenic's and I with Early War Miniatures, EWM Scenic's and the OTT WW1 ranges jointly, have a massively comprehensive coverage of WW2 and WW1 models in 20mm Scale across many fronts. Our ranges of models are highly compatible and work well together. Our goal is create a 20mm trading "Zone" at shows where you can buy both miniatures, models and scenery for the periods WW1 to WW2 with some interesting things for in between. In fact, that's our new business description for the 20mm Zone

"From WW1 to WW2 with lots of interesting things for in between".

At Derby we have a 30 foot trade space booked and the same at the Crisis show in Antwerp. More will follow in the future as we establish the "20mm Zone" at shows and our new ranges of models for WW2 under the same name. We shall be working hard to get ready for the Derby show where we hope to show case the new 20mm Zone trading concept and the completed models in the new ww2 range we are working on.
We look forward to hearing your views on our new approach to trading our joint ranges of WW1 to WW2 20mm products and the new WW2 20mm zone models as we show case them.
All our future news updates on the range of WW2 models will be headed the 20mm zone from now on. It is a case of no longer is it the "former WW2 range" of Skytrex/Hincliffe models any longer as we are bringing these beautiful original patterns back in our new rapid build format using new, better materials and at substantially cheaper costs than they were before.
We thank you for your interest and both Ian and I look forward to your views on what we are creating.

Best regards
Paul T@EWM and Ian Clunie SHS
