I have built me a Wooden Suspension Bridge for our "A Very Moderate Swedish Conflict" club project. The inspiration I got when I was visiting my grand parents home willage Floda in Dalarna (Sweden) this summer. The Wooden Suspension Bridge in Floda was built in 1922.
My bridge project starten when my friend Oskar donated some parts of a 1/72 Airfix Pontoon Bridge to our project.
I thought the railings resembled the Floda bridge so I just had to build me some Bridge towers and then will have me a small Wooden Suspension Bridge. You can see more pictures of the finished bridge at my blog. Best regards Michael |

Oh I like that – well done. There's something about bridge models that is very appealing and this one is a cracker. Now, where's that Airfix pontoon bridge I bought in 1970? Doug |
