Try GW snakebite leather as a base coat, then highlight it with tan from Cel Vinyl. Put little black dots or semi-circles on it. Wait for that to dry and put a wash on the whole thing. Then hit it with highlights on the yellowish areas when the wash is dry.

Remember too that a leopard is lighter colored underneath and so the edges of the pelt should shade to white.

I'm almost positive a [TMP] member produced a guide but I can't seem to find it.

I think it was Stronty Girl (who paints beautifully, btw), so that may help someone who is better at searching find it.

Google "leopard" and go to IMAGES. grin

If you look closely, you will see that on the Sand backgrounmd, there are light brown spots. The black dots surround this spot.
Except on the face of course.
