Godzilla toys and minis? Where is the best place to get them? And which toys work best for Godzilla "giant monster" games? Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

How big a Giant monster game to you want? for use with 1/300 scale figs/tanks, I use plastic models, I have Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Ghodirah, and Rodan (kitmaker unknown, I put them together years ago), and I have a Bandai Gamera to finish right now... For 1:700-ish, I use the multi-part vinyl High Grade figures that Clawmark carries. Search Ebay for "godzilla" and you'll see a variety of sizes between these two... |

I wonder if the hulk could beat up godzilla.... |

Don't know -- but you could check back issues of Marvel Comics, they did some godzilla zines within the Marvel universe. I don't own that part of my research library anymore... |

I'm a big fan of Giant Monster Rampage. I started with 6" monsters and found a lot of choices. Then, on a whim, I took a look at 4" monsters and was hooked. I've boxed up the bigger ones and am collecting full steam the 4" guys. I have five so far. Great fun. I like the smaller stuff because it works better on the table. Also, I found movie monsters in that range. I have Godzilla, Godzilla 2000, Gamera (oh yeah!), American GOdzilla, and King Ghidorah. I think I'll head over to Ebay now and check auctions for more. |

www.toyzz.com will occasionally have the big guys for sale with fantastic discounts. It's kind of a hit or miss prospect though, the ggod stuff is usually sold out fairly quickly. |

Well a fun set of rules plus expansions is found at www.Fuzzyheroes.com but you might have to adjust "Godzilla" as action figure... instead of a stuffed animal. LOL! Gracias, Glenn

They're just asking for trouble. Big coastal city, right on the Pacific...don't be surprised when the Big G wades ashore for the festivities. He's got plenty of time on his hands, not like he's working at Toho these days, after all. Rich |

[OT] Atari Godzilla Game for Nintendo Gamecube! Wow! What a cool game! I'm at my sister's place for Thanksgiving and I've been playing Atari Godzilla Game for Nintendo Gamecube and it is so cool! It really makes me want to get out the 6mm Godzilla set and get things going! Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

Does anyone know where to find Bandai toys in the USA? I checked out their website and couldn't find the Godzilla toys there. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |
| GiantMonster | 20 Dec 2004 9:02 a.m. PST |
Unfortunately Bandai tried to release Godzilla toys in the U.S. but it failed. Now you can find the remnants at KB Toys. You can however find many places that have imported the Japanese Godzilla toy releases. The most notable one clawmarktoys.com for more information on Godzilla and other giant monster toys try clubtokyo.org Hope this helps. Thanks Kenny! I can't seem to find the Crumble Zone tht was designed for the Bandai USA Fodzilla figures. Anyone know where to find one? Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |
| GiantMonster | 20 Feb 2005 10:27 a.m. PST |
The crumble zone is going to be extremely hard to find. I think they were only ordered by specialty stores and not in large quantities. I saw one on ebay go for just over $200. USD Unless you are a collector I would pass on this, there are plenty of Japanese imported alternatives. |

I probably should divulge this to a bunch of Godzilla fans, but you can get a very nice 1/300 scale "Gojira Hakaisha" from Reviresco as part of the DAYS OF EMPIRE series of science fiction armoured vehicles. Just the thing for taking out those large, annoying city-stomping monsters on a sunny Tokyo afternoon. ;) Leland R. Erickson |

What sizes can you get American style monsters in? I'd love to see a tag team with Godzilla and Rodan taking on The Claw and a horde of THEM! |

I've seen the Reviresco minis and they are very good. Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

I have a few 6" Trendmaster figs that I was planning on putting on ebay but if anyone here is interested you can email me off list. rbwgames@midsouth.rr.com They are from 1994-95 and have electronic sound. Only one has batteries the others were taken out so they wouldn't corrode. They are all in good condition. I have the following figures: Godzilla Gigan Space Godzilla King Ghidorah (stripped screw, can't open the back) Mecha-King Ghidorah Mecha-Godzilla Rodan Mothra (sound not working) |
| Riverbluff Wargames | 15 Apr 2005 8:50 a.m. PST |
I also have a non-sound making, Korean made, Ghidorah in roughly the same size. |

I've found the magazine G-Fan to be a good source for reviews and places to get Godzilla and related items. g-fan.com As for rules I have both Mystic Eye Games' Giant Monster Rampage and Firefly Games' Monster Island. Both are good, though I've mostly played GMR. Both are available for a good price and have some neat ideas. I plan on giving Monster Island another go with some of the bits from the newer books though. |
