New releases to EWM's growing Over The Top (OTT) 20mm range of WW1 British infantry for the period 1914 to 1918.
These will include both the Western and Middle east fronts. EWM is pleased to release 54 new miniatures and 44 new packs to its growing range of WW1 products. Here are details of a few of them with more being added to the store tomorrow.
We have been building these up until we have a good range to release. As you know, we can be relied upon to add to the ranges we launch with lots of exciting new additions.
Tom our main designer has already started on "Johny Turk" so you will see more Middle east releases over the coming weeks. The work with the new Ranges remoulding and reissuing the former Skytrex/Hinchliffe models is slowing down our release rates a little as you would imagine.
British Army 1914
A small special edition range of the "old Contemptible's" for 1914 have been started and will grow in time for the anniversaries next year. Here are the first few. We already do some cavalry and 18 pounder gun crews and guns for 1914.

New British Army 1917-1918 Western Front.
The new Western front figures come in battle dress with 1908 pattern webbing for the 1917-1918 period the gas mask case is usually on the chest and helmets are worn. The range also includes British Highlander units wearing kilts with canvas covers. Some figures come with the main rear pack, others with out. Entrenching tools can be found on the rear or right hip and the tool handle alongside the bayonet frog. Some examples are shown here. Support weapons come as deployed or being carried into action poses. The 1917-1918 British infantry units are designed to complement our WW1 German Stoss Truppen and work in the EWM trench models.

These look good, I've seen some "in the lead". The late war western front figures are the best yet, great detail.

I can them being used for VBCW, the Highlanders would make great Liverpool Scottish!
