I've finished my first Roman ship for the Thapsus game I'll be touting around the shows this autumn. She's a beaut!

Thanks all, I'm happy with it. It's a lovely model, I might even get a couple more…

Lovely piece, how about naming her "Fortuna" or after one of Neptune's Daughters, "Benthiscya", "Despoena", or "Rhode"?
"Salacia" the Goddess of Salt Water or one of the Oceanids or Nereids en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nereid or something like "The Lucky Nymph" or "The Nymph of Ostia" (or whatever port name is appropriate)?

Oh wow.

"Stella Maris" (=Seas Star), or just "Stella".

Or… perhaps…

"Concha Veneris" (=Venus shell), or simply "Veneris" (=Venus' own).
