I am looking for some reviews of these rules for 17th century naval warfare.

They are good and fast. They have the same mechanisms as signal close action fast play. Everything is controlled by a modified D6 role against a action chart. The result of the role shows you if you're orders are carried out or if there is a negative or lucky effect.

The rules give a good game with minimal paper wourk and a results that feels right.

Suggest posting to Napoleonic Naval section. Though a different period there is a lot of crosspost for Age of Sail naval.

I was curious about these rules too, but I could not find vendors or games at Historicon this year.

I do have General At Sea rules. Naval battles at this time were huge compared to the later 18th century so these rules make a stand a squadron of several ships. Seems to work, but you don't grapple and board, things are abstracted a bit for scale. Not sure it is what I want. Hence my interest in Tiller and Whipstaff as well.
