No pics, but I fondly remember: my first discovery of GHQ microarmor, and first purchase – a pack of Shermans and a pack of Stug IIIs; Tractics; 1/2400th WWII and modern naval vessels; GQ1 and 2; and the Traveller RPG rules and supplements. And yes, I am a dinosaur. |

I remember picking Napoleon's Battles off the rack, and then being told by the store manageer (NCC-1701 in Orlando, FL) where I could buy the figures. He even gave me the Modeler's Mart catalogue. It was a whole new world of wonder for me, coming from hex and counter wargames. |

My first minis were Bianca Snow and the Space Dwarves by Archive, and some Heritage King Arther stuff at Bobe's Hobby House in Pensacola, Fla. |

Having never seen a vast selection of 1/2400th scale metal vessel miniatures for sale before, Brookhurst's selection was awe inspiring. |

My first miniatures were not really associated with a brand name or a game, they were just pewter miniatures that I would buy while on vacation in small odd shops. Most of them had little gemstones (probably plastic or crystal) mounted on the base or in the model's hand. I still have a lot of them, I should post pictures sometime. |
