Two things: I note that marching and counter-marching lowers the morale of the troops (as always), yet tin soldiers and cardboard counters don't mind at all. Second, that introducing new troops (artillery batteries, in this case) fires up the troops and gets pinned down troops moving forward again, something else our tin guys don't notice.
