'In the dying days of World War II, a battalion of Russian soldiers find themselves lost in enemy territory. Stumbling upon a village decimated by an unseen terror, they're lured into the secret lab of a deranged scientist (Hellboy's Karel Roden) and forced to face off against his army of horrific flesh-and-metal war machines. Leaderless and faced with dissention amongst their dwindling ranks, the Russians must find the courage to face down this terrifying new menace – or die trying. A nightmarish fantasy thrill ride unlike any other, Richard Raaphorst's FRANKENSTEIN'S ARMY is a delirious plunge into the darkest depths of insanity.'
The preview screenings have been well reviewed. Out July 26th in selected theatres.

Can't the Russuans get the 90% of villagers still alive to help them out ?

Seems a mash-up between 13 Ghosts (multiple divergent monsters stalking trapped victims) and The Keep (WWII unit trapped in a castle fighting the supernatural for survival), but I'd watch it!

The Keep was good.

Well… While The Keep novel was great, the movie was horrific. Its on Netflix re3cently and caught it. Wow. What a butchering.

But I'd see this.

Check out Devil's Rock. That was pretty good too.

Yep, agreed – the novel The Keep was GREAT, the movie a shadow of the potential.

Regardless I still liked the Keep. While the preview of this seemed to lack some polish it appears to be quite entertaining and inventive.

What I liked about the keep was the contrast between the uniforms weapons and vehicles and procedures of the SS versus the regular Army types.

From what I've read in Fangoria, HorrorHound, etc., all of the creatures in FA are real make up or animatronics – none of the lame CGI that is used as a crutch by sub-par filmmakers. Looks awesome!

I am so making a propeller head, for my WH40K Chaos :)

Made by the same guy who tried to make Worst Case Scenario (Nazi zombies as soccer hooligans).

The Keep is a decent enough horror film… especially compared to the vast forest of crappy 'teenager have their party weekend ruined by mutant hillbillies' movies.
