Hi, I'm going to be playtesting my Siege Warfare rules that cover 1680 – 1815, and the game will be Friday night at 7pm in the Exhibit Hall A. This game will be the Siege of Praga (Warsaw) 4 November 1794, during the War of Polish Insurrection. This will be the first convention game where my Poles have hit the table. Should be really unusual and unique battle. Background history: link
Russians won by storming the fortress. We will be playtesting mining for the first time, so hopefully that won't be too cumbersome. Russians didn't use mines in this battle, but I want to test the mechanics. I have extensively streamlined the rules in the last two weeks, which I hope to make for a fun outing. Seems very interesting, siege warfare is under-represented in our hobby and it seems as though these could be fun. |
is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
