Dear Armand,

This is very timely and helpful for my book about Lutzen and Bautzen. Do you know if there are any others for the 1,3,and 4 Marine Artillery regiments?

Thanks so much.

Dear Gustav,

Thank you very much for providing this material. Although Marmont says that the tremendous discrepancy in losses (742 killed and 350 wounded at Lutzen) was due to the fact that the regiment was under artillery fire all day long, I also speculate that the fact that the regiment was hastily assembled and lacked surgeons and a medical staff also contributed.

Regardless, thank you again.
