Nope. Not a Casey Jones (or Grateful Dead) set of miniatures. This week, INLGames has a an actual train conversion bit. Just some simple brushwork on a toy train
and a little philosophical discussion about gaming with trains in general.
Well, that seems to have them stopped in their tracks. |

I use Bachmann's Thomas the Tank Engine line for some of my 15mm games. They're not all that expensive. And the faces on most of the rolling stock can be painted over or pried off. The faces on the locomotives are held in place with screws. The faces can be easily removed and replaced with a washer and a thumb tack. A bit of paint and there you go. I even scratch built a version of the improvised armored train used by the British in Egypt in 1882. |

I got a Thomas electric engine that was a throw away and took off the face and gave it a quick paint job. It works for my Ireland 1920 village. I would like to get some cars for it but I'm not going to buy them. |
