We had our first ever Arab-Israeli game at the club last Wednesday. This is something i have been wanting to do for decades although my preferred game would be set in 1967 with all those Shermans and Centurions. This one is a bit later than that though so plenty of Merkava 1 and T72 tanks on show in 6mm. We used the Micro Armour rules by GHQ. The report is on the teenagers Blog here- Link |

Love the ground cloth. How did you make it? |

Well done, I also liked the ground cloth. Wide open countryside, you'll have to make up some more terrain. The smoke, bombardment and destroyed vehicle markers are great. Thanks for sharing this. Joe |

Ken The mat was purchased from Terrain Mat and we are looking into getting some bigger ones but they are quite expensive. I found this site a few days ago which is an excellent tutorial so i am going to give it a go. It should cost a fraction of the price of a commercial one and the quality looks at least as good.- Link Joe The members are very fond of using those smoke markers! |

Did you use the optional morale rules? |

I'm more interested in the sixth picture. The gentleman seated in the middle, holding up a V for Victory salute appears to have three arms?!?!? Otherwise, it looks like a fun game was had by all. |

Its not a rule set i am familiar with as it was Darrens game. We were not using the morale rules though. Maybe we will next time but i will ask him about them. As far as picture 6 is concerned its something i hadn't noticed about our resident Headmaster! |
