I am looking for Master Series Brushes from Kolinsky. The numbers are that I need 08608 and 08607. I have tried a few places in the states, but no luck. They are marketed by Reaper? Thanks Mike |

Will no other Kolinsky sable brushes do? 'Kolinsky' is the source of the bristles, not a trade name. link Other Kolinsky sable brushes are available, my personal favourites are W&N Series 7 link |

Mike, Did you try Games Plus? I only have one brush from Reaper and I'm pretty sure I got it at Plus but I could be mistaken. It wasn't as nice as the W&N Series 7 brushes I normally use, fwiw. |

Games Plus did not have any and did not know when or if they will be getting any! Thanks Mike |

There has been a production issue at Reaper with the Master Series Brushes. Hopefully they will be back into distribution soon. |

I use Triple Zero W/N Series No. 7 brushes from Dick Blick art supplies online. They are expensive. But they are damned good brushes that take a lot of abuse and last a long time. Recommended. Blake |

Nothing can hold a candle to Winsor & Newton. Series 7 or 1 miniature. As Blake Walker already said initially expensive but cheaper in the long run provided you take good care of them. Some of my W&Ns are 8+ years old and still almost as new. And I use oil paint for which they aren't even designed! Rosemary has some really good alternatives, slightly cheaper but alos a bit more 'give' Won't last as long as the W&Ns unless you get the Design series which is almost the same price as the W&N. Third choice would be Raphael. link |
