I have finished two more of the gunboats for the Lake Erie project; American sloop Trippe and British schooner Chippewa:

Most of my time for the next couple months will be taken up doing the photography and text for the instructions for the remaining ships, all of which (I hope) will be done before the battle's bicentennial in September.

Here's a view of the entire British squadron:

From left to right, Detroit, Queen Charlotte, Lady Prevost, General Hunter, Little Belt, and Chippewa.

To the best of my knowledge, no one has every reproduced the entire order of battle in miniature before. (Someone will correct me if I am wrong, I'm sure.) Now I know why . . . it takes for-freaking-ever to do that many models all in one batch.

(Side note to whoever it was that asked about the time to rig a while back, on some other thread . . . Trippe took about 20 minutes, and Chippewa about 30.)

Carojon: September, if all goes as planned. Perhaps sooner.

Very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing all the American ships too.

I don't think anyone has done all the Lake Erie ships before. I have seen some the larger ships, but the smaller ones are usually done with generic ships. I think this is probably because there were relatively few battles on the Great Lakes (although there are a lot of possibilities) and because most miniatures (and rules) focus on the larger ship of the line ships/battles.
