Bonjour! These are my notes from the late 1980s Never throw anything away <grin>) when I was building a 1/300 French battlegroup. Hope they're some use. It doesn't included an support elements that may have been included at company level.

French Infantry Platoon ~1985

1x Heavy Support Section
FAMAS rifles
1x 7.62mm AAT F1 SFMG
1x APILAS MAW
AC58 rifle grenades

10 men

3x Infantry Sections
FAMAS rifles
1x LMG
APAV40 & AC58 rifle grenades

10 men per section

AT team
LRAC F1 LAW

2 men

If motor platoon add 5x VTT

French Mechanised Platoon ~1985

1x Light infantry section
FAMAS rifles
1x LMG
AC58 rifle grenades

5 men

3x Mech Infantry Sections
FAMAS rifles
1x LMG
1x LRAC F1 LAW
AC58 rifle grenades

9 men per section

AT Team
LRAC F1 LAW

2 men

4x AMX-10P

The 'LMG' may be obsolete, as the FAMAS rifle is a full-auto bullpup design with a bipod.

Airborne, marines and other special forces have different TOOE
