The issues for 2013 and 2014 are already written and printed. The theme is of course a "How To Do" for Imagi-nations with ideas and game modlues of all sort. We discussed among the Society of Daisy what the members would like to see in 2015 and 2016. Generaly the consensus was to divide the issues along the lines of about 50% Scenarios, methodologies, backstories and rules, and 25% wargaming techniques and book reviews, and about 25% "parody" games. For example, taking AH's "Krigspiel" and making it over into "Kriegschlogg" a game about post WWII superpowers wasing their money in "winning the hearts and minds of the people" in worthless third world countries, or "Star-Babes" which gave a complete science-fiction game, with counters and map tiles for a confrontation between the classic B movie aliess of the schlock films of the 50's.

One of the suggestion has been "Factor Mismanagement" a spoof of the European board game "Factory Management" in which you get to find out what REALLY goes on in American bujsiness, and the other is "Decline and Fall of Civilization." This is a spoof of the old AH Civilization game where you start out with a highly advanced civilization and attempt to bring it to extinction by replacing, for exampe your civilizaiton cards like Law, Democracy, and Mathematics, with cards for Buruecracy, Debauchery, and Reality television.

Other suggestions were "Harry Potter and the Horror of the Blind date." Which would allow you to game out what would happen if various persons from the HP series married others, like, what if Harry married Pansy Parkinson, what woudl their kids be like, who would wind up in therapy first, or would they live happier ever after. We passed on that one for obvious reasons.

Sign me up for Decline and Fall ! That is a really clever idea.

Don't forget Media Takeover for all media being owned by one or two corporations

How about Strangling Creativity when an over-zealous gov't enforces very strict copywrite laws

Dear Craig H.

The game is still in development. We're open to any suggestions. The hard part is remembering to "change the charge" on everything. So for example the calamites from the trade cards have to become benefits etc.
