What if you want to game something too controversial or distasteful to put on the tabletop?

I just spent 4 hours gluing together 60 zombies from the studio miniatures Plastic Multi-Part Male Zombies box.
Very nice minis could use 4 more different bodies to get a better mix.

My 50 year old back hurts :)

Nice job, I have these on deck as well. They look very high quality like all studio stuff does.

Fantastic!

I might have to pick a set up to add to my 100-150 wgf zombies and 2 kickstarters (season 1 and 2) of ZOMBICIDE

I'm with you there. It is a common criticism with only the four body types. With 60 minis in a box they get very samey. Lots of people do some converting on them to give them a different look.

I've played a few games involving scores of zombies. One thing I regret now but didn't consider originally is basing some 2, 3, 4 even 5 to a stand. Keep singles for making change.

This point may need its own thread …

Thank you for the reminder of multi basing. I can still make some 2 and 3 zed clumps with these bases by cutting flat edges and gluing the bases together after they are painted. :) I think I will wait till the female zombies I have coming get delivered to mix in.

just so you all know these are replacement zombies for the 100+ I lost in a work shop fire last November :(

One option for more poses is to mix the Studio miniatures Zombies with the Wargames Factory Z's or even the WF Apocalypse Survivors: Men.
All are about the same size and the WF : Men are in great looking dynamic poses that with a Z's head and arms would
be perfect to fill the ranks.

Thanks Camcleod I ordered the WF male and female boxes about 4 days after this box they have just not gotten delivered yet.

I still think 4 more bodies would help this box set a lot.

I also have the (season 1 and 2) of ZOMBICIDE showing up some time. soon I hope.

Looking good. What scale are those?

Ark3nubis09 Jul 2013 9:55 p.m. PST

Good god Ron, you will soon have your own meta-horde in your back room, great job!

In the male survivors there's the model with the long 'Matrix' style coat on, not what I want fir NY survivors, that'll help mix up the zeds a bit too, maybe paint one beige like a rain mac Dik Bogart type jacket (caked in blood of course…)

The scale for these seems consistent with WGF, but the detail also appears to be sharper. Nice figs!

Ron W DuBray10 Jul 2013 8:17 a.m. PST

Grey Matter 13 They are 28mm.

ClassicallyDrained the detail is unreal down to the fingers on the hands being separated digits.

Ark3nubis10 Jul 2013 8:32 a.m. PST

I believe you can even see the finger nails too
