I know the question is probably futile, but… is there any producing swimming ducks in 28mm?

Thanks in advance,

Burkhard

P.S: I am looking for the animal, not the amphibious truck of WWII!

IIRC Megaminis had one (probably true 25mm, but does it really matter with such a small animal?) but they've sold the molds to someplace called Turnkey and the figs don't appear to be back in production yet:

Best bet is probably to contact Turnkey and ask.

Magister Militum do a pack of two which includes one that could be cut off at the waterline.

You can also look through the bizarre world of train hobbies. I found some HO scale ducks here:

O-scale or 1/48 ducks are what you're after. HO-scale will be way too small for 28mm.

Plasticville/Bachmann did some O-scale farm animals, including ducks. Here are some on Ebay: auction

And a set by Museum Models: auction

The local train store guy is so crusty, so sarcastic, he's almost lovable. Almost.

He was poking fun at me for special ordering an ore cart, some crates of dynamite, and a couple of bank safes. I pointed out that I was ordering HIS merchandise from HIS distributors, paying him MY money. I still suspect he won the discussion, somehow.

Ertl has some ducks in their Farm line. They're made of a soft plastic so can easily be "waterlined".

Sounds like a bank heist being planned to me. Someone call the Cops (Pulp Figures, RAFM, Copplestone, Eureka (VIctorian cops), Offensive and more have 'em, depending on the era and country you want…)!

Thank you guys!

More options out there than I thought!

I agree H0 is too small for my needs, which is why I went for your help!

THX again,

Burkhard
