Looking at the battlefield in both EV and F&F main rules, the area in front of the Lutheran Seminary has woods depicted along the front
.. EV has a thin line, whilst F&F depicts them scattered
. I've been to the battlefield on numerous occasions and don't remember having woods enough in front to justify a cover bonus
Was that area more wooded back then? Madcam. |

Here is a website with two images taken in 1863 (scroll down to Additional Photos) link For gaming purposes, we consider it a tree line, providing wood cover as shown in EV, at the bottom of the hill. |
