Hey all I am keen to get into gaming the Boer War. I am primarily a 6mm gamer and would like to continue this way so as to utilise my gaming terrain. Boers and colonial troops are easy in this scale as ACW foot and mounted in hats work well. Guns and wagons and limbers work fine as well. The issue I have is with the Imperial British troops in their unique helmets. Pith helmets. Any suggestions? And then if I did not take it on in 6mm, I guess the next option would be 10mm. What ranges are there in 10mm for this period? I realise Pendraken I think do a zulu range and therefore have the pith helmets and then can I assume they would have bushhat troops as well? |

Irregular also makes a 6mm Boer war range and Old Glory makes 10mm Brits for their Zulu War range. |

! Should have waited for your responses before I kept looking on google and found Pendraken's 10mm Boer range. They look good and now I am torn. |

Then use Baccus 6mm Boers and Brits from the Zulu Wars range – they manage to cram almost as much detail into a 6mm figure as many 10's. |
