I ran a slightly different Normandy game this year. It was a recon meeting engagement that takes place on D+1 between the 12SS and the 61st Recce Rgt Plenty of light units with lots of firepower in some tight terrain. Link to my flickr site: link And we see the benefits of not getting to move when you thought it would be a good thing. Mark

Ditto on the table. And it looks like a fast-moving game – nice to see some armoured cars (my personal favourites) given a run. For the blurry photos in low light have you tried changing the ISO to 400 or 800? Grainier picture but faster speed. A tripod, of course, is what you really want. I'm very glad yo see that you avoided the temptation to use a flash! |

Thanks, Bill. I will try that next time. I have a tripod, but I just go with the flow when we have limited time and picture snapping is low priority. At least I can't be accused of staging pictures. |

That looks really nice. The contours and lay out of the of the board are excellent and appear very realistic. What scale? |

All my WWII games are in 6mm. The narrative mentions that also. I would recommend clicking on the description to get a better idea of the action and basic idea behind the scenarios. (Especially since I really hate going through and labelling all the pics-trying to remember what was going on) Thanks for the comments. |

Thanks for the headsup on narrative. |
