All Does anyone have any suggestions for some "different" scenarios that don't involve two armies just beating seven bells out of each other? I'm hosting a black powder game with two newbies, and to ease them into it and familiarise themselves with command and control, I was thinking about literally setting them the task of deploying from one side of the board to the other. I'm hoping that they'll suspect an ambush and be overly cautious

Just use some of the standard "missions": Movement to contact Rear Guard etc. Check out Volley and Bayonet: Road to Glory. The Scenario rules are worth the price. |

Raglan Peninsular, might put some villagers on the map. See if my friends decide to shoot them! If so Partisans may well appear! F |
