The "Empire" Board was added to TMP after a vote to added it failed but Bill went adhead anyway. Over the it's only had 2 Empire threads in the last three months, and 10 Empire treads in the previous nine months. Others are general Napoleonic or Warhammer threads. Since we merged the Terrain and Scenics Boards because of duplication and lack of traffic, isn't it time to do the same to Empire and roll in back into the general Napoleonic Discussion mad house? |

As a rule of thumb, if a board receives fewer than ten new topics per month, it is eligible for elimination. That is 'rule of thumb', so he is not required to do so.  |

I think we should have a "time to retire Empire Rules" Board on the Napoleonics boards. Or at least a Time to Retire" board were we can discuss boards to be retired. If you really wanted to comment on the board you should have at least cross posted to the Empire board! VR

If no-one mentions the boards eligible for elimination, they aren't going to get eliminated. At this point I shall repeat my preference for the minimum number of boards, ideally just two. 'Wargaming', 'Other stuff' coupled with a post tagging feature. |

We dumped a Board on painting Great War battleships a while ago. Or was it Age of Sail ships? I forget, but now the knowledge in those Boards and the threads posted on it are gone.
So why are we considering eliminating a Board which may have useful informtion for the small minority of Empire players? Personally, I think this whole thread smells of Empire hatred, and the desire to force people to play games the way YOU like them to be played. |

Nazrat – I could be. I stated in one to get my questions out not thinking it would make it past the first month. All in all there isn't something I couldn't get in the regular Napoleonic boards. If the computer that holds all this is overloaded and needs the room loose it. But I suspect that isn't the case. |
