Just what the title says. It's just some GWSM bits and some MWClix bits. And the glorious results of my misspent youth with toys that became comics that became different toys. |

It's actually a little scary how much this reminds me of the real thing, but surely the Spacemarine head is more "Force Commander" than the good Baron? Now where do we get a time traveler from? Cheers Roger. |

Now where do we get a time traveler from? Cast in translucent resin or plastic, I would say. |

Nice! Will you be doing a Marionette?

I made my own Marrioette to go along with my toy Kenner Star Wars figures and Micronauts as a kid by taking the body from a Princess Leia figure and the head arms and legs from a Daisy Duke figure, wasn't perfect but as the closest I could get to a commander Rann figure was "Mork from Orc" to my mind it was close enough! Loved that comic strip when it used to be in Star Wars Weekly, (I loved Starlord, Warlock and the Gardians of the Galaxy too). Roger. |

Man, I'd forgotten about that Marionette costume. There's a painting challenge. Hmmm – I wonder if one of the local cosplayers could be convinced to try that one? :) |

Rich, if you do a Google image search for "micronauts marionette" you'll see that someone has photoshopped Marionette's costume onto a back view of a nude model. Definitely NSFW. |

Baron Karza was a rip-off of Kotetsu Jeeg with a different head. So was Force Comander and most of the other Magno line. I bet you could find a gashopon of him and make your own Baron head.
And yeah, Oberon/Nebula were rip offs of his horse too. Except Jeeg had other attachment bodies he could plug into.
Jeeg was a robot by the way and was "piloted" by a kid wearing special armor who I think morphed into Jeeg's head somehow but it is not clear. Typically you see the kid jump and then the head comes down and snaps into the neck socket. Jeeg Build Up! Kotetsu Jeeg |

Except the Micormanline (1975) came out a year before Kotetsu Jeeg (1976). And tons of mid-late 70's cyborg stuff was derivative of Henshin. And other stuff before that. Still, the idea of fleshing out the rest of the 'Nauts appeals
